Moorpark High School: Departments of Meteorology, Mathematics, Exterior Design and Disaster Preparedness

He possesses two professional clear teaching credentials from the State of California: Mathematics and Physical Science.  He also holds three weather forecasting certificates from the United States Navy and a Master's Degree (MS) in the Geosciences from Mississippi State University, Mississippi, 2001.  The MS has emphasis in Meteorology and Geology.  He is also a severe weather spotter for the National Weather Service (Oxnard, CA), # VTU476.

Mr. Baker is a certified instructor with the American Red Cross as a Lay Responder and Professional Rescuer in: First Aid, CPR and AED training, Water Safety Instruction and Lifesaving (Rescue and Water Safety).  He also holds certification as a CERT instructor through the Ventura County Fire Department.

He is a part-time stringer reporter with KFWB AM news radio.  He has been a teacher at Moorpark High School since 1993.
